As first reported by the Verge, Yahoo Answers will officially shut down on May 4, signaling the end of an era. Yahoo made this announcement by adding a banner to the top of the Yahoo Answers homepage. The company says that starting on April 20, users will no longer be able to post any new questions or answers....

FX has revealed a trailer and premiere date for Devs, an original TV show from Ex Machina and Annihilation director Alex Garland. An eight-part limited series, Devs stars Sonoya Mizuno (Garland’s frequent collaborator) as Lily, a software engineer who investigates her mysterious employer (Nick Offerman), believing him to be responsible for her boyfriend’s murder. She and Offerman are joined in the cast by Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale), and Stephen McKinley Henderson (Fences) in smaller roles, along with Jin Ha as Lily’s ex-boyfriend Jamie....

FX has released a teaser and first-look images for Alex Garland’s Devs. The sci-fi limited series marks Garland’s first excursion into television, as well as his third effort as a director after the acclaimed sci-fi dramas Ex Machina and Annihilation.
