Adobe today has rolled out updates to a pair of its iOS apps, adding support for features introduced in the latest version of Apple’s operating system. Adobe Photoshop Fix and Adobe Photoshop Mix have both been updated this evening, the former being bumped to version 1.1 and the latter to version 2.1.
The changelogs for both updates are identical. Adobe has added support for iOS 9 multitasking to Photoshop Fix and Photoshop Mix. This means that both apps now support iOS 9’s Split View multitasking feature, allowing users to use Adobe’s apps on one half of their display and another app on the other half.
The updates also both add iPad Pro support. With the iPad Pro, users of Photoshop Mix and Photoshop Fix will be able to edit larger images. Exact details are unclear at this point, but it’s nice to know support will be there when iPad Pro launches next month.
Finally, Mix and Fix now support Apple’s Pencil Stylus, launching alongside iPad Pro next month. Adobe says that the apps only have “basic” Pencil support at this point and it’s unclear if that will change.
The latest versions of Adobe Photoshop Mix and Adobe Photoshop Fix can be downloaded from the App Store now.
