Apple’s AirPlay feature, which allows iPhone, iPad and Mac users to stream video and audio from their devices to Apple TVs and other supported devices, now works on Xbox One thanks to an update to the third-party AirServer app.

With today’s release for Xbox One, it becomes the first app to enable support for AirPlay streaming on Xbox One.
Xbox One players can use the feature to stream audio in the background from their iOS devices or Mac while using Xbox, or alternatively mirror the entire display to stream mobile games or video to the big screen.
Officially, Apple allows iOS device users to AirPlay photos and videos to a second-gen Apple TV or later, or music to an Apple TV, AirPlay speaker, or AirPort Express. You can also mirror the entire display of your iOS device to an Apple TV. As for support on third-party devices like Xbox, that is left up to workarounds by others like AirServer.
