Pokemon Go players now have a new special research event to look forward to along with the Seedot Community Day. The Pokemon Go Seeing Double special research event will give players the opportunity to collect new Pokemon and other items. Players will have to complete some tasks to earn rewards during the Seeing Double research event.

The Seedot Community day kicks off from May 24. And it will run from 11 am to 5 pm local time. Therefore, players have half a day to complete the new event. In case you do not want to spend time trying to complete it, you can pay $1 to complete the challenge. Pokemon GO Seeing Double Special Research Tasks and Rewards

There are four parts to the Pokemon Go Seeing Double research task. Each part has three challenges that players must complete to earn rewards after completion of the challenges. Given below are the tasks and their rewards respectively.

Step 1

  • Power up Pokemon 10 times | Reward – 10 PokeBalls
  • Catch 10 Seedot | Reward – 20 Seedot Candies
  • Make five Nice Throws | Reward – Seedot encounter

After you complete all the challenges in step 1, you will be rewarded with the following: Seedot encounter, 2,000 Stardust, and 1 Incense.

Step 2

  • Catch 15 Seedot | Reward – 20 Seedot Candies
  • Transfer 10 Pokemon | Reward – Nuzleaf encounter
  • Evolve three Seedot | Reward – 1,000 XP

Completing these challenges in step 2 will give you the following rewards: 2,000 Stardust, 1 Incense and 1 Poffin.

Step 3

  • Make three Great Curveball Throws | Reward – 20 Seedot Candies
  • Evolve one Nuzleaf | Reward – Five Golden Razz Berries
  • Transfer 10 Pokemon | Reward – 1,500 XP

Once you complete the challenges in step 3, you will get these rewards: 2,000 Stardust, 1 Incense and 1 Rocket Radar.

Step 4

The challenges in step 4 should be auto-completed after you finish the challenges in the first 3 steps. Therefore, players do not need to do anything extra to complete step 4. All three challenges will be auto-completed and you will get the following rewards: 5,000 Stardust, 1,500 XP, 5 Silver Pinap Berries.

Once players complete all 4 parts and the challenges, they will unlock the completion reward. This will give players 2,000 Stardust, 3 Rare Candies and Shiftry Encounter. Thus, after completing the Pokemon Go Seeing Double special research event, players will gain a lot of items and possibly even a Shiny Shiftry. Shiny Pokemon are rare and do not appear often, thus, you may or may not encounter a Shiny Shiftry after completing all challenges.

All in all, players will get a total of all these items and encounters: 13000 Stardust, 4000 XP, 60 Seedot Candy, 10 Pokeballs, 5 Golden Razz Berry, 5 Silver Pinap Berry, 3 Incense, 3 Rare Candy, 1 Poffin, 1 Rocket Radar, 1 Nuzleaf encounter, and 1 Shiftry encounter. However, make sure to complete the challenges before the event finishes. Fortunately, the challenges are fairly easy and can be done within the timeframe.
