American Express is deepening its integration with Apple Pay. The company has announced today that when you’re approved for a new American Express credit card, you can now instantly add that card to Apple Pay and begin using it immediately. American Express has always been ahead of the curve with its Instant Card Number feature, which allows users to access their card number and begin shopping immediately upon approval. With today’s expansion, however, you can also now add their new American Express card to the Wallet app on iPhone and Apple Watch for Apple Pay usage as well....

Former America’s Got Talent judge, Julianne Hough denies reports that crew members criticized her look. Hough may be looking to distance herself from the controversy raised by the firing of her fellow judge, Gabrielle Union. The alleged comments about Hough’s hair and makeup were made by America’s Got Talent staffers and were said to have negatively impacted her morale. In 2016, she spoke about the frustrations she suffered from being criticized for her looks, as well as the eating disorder, anxiety, and depression she endured as a professional ballroom dancer....

Classic Marvel monster Werewolf by Night is getting a full moon make-over, including a variant cover by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki. The comic book will introduce a brand new Werewolf by Night written by Taboo and Ben Jackendoff, with art by Scott Eaton, with the familiar story of a young man struggling with a family curse. As if that weren’t enough, the new Werewolf by Night must protect his community from supernatural threats while struggling to contain the beast within....

AliveCor, maker of the iPhone-compatible Mobile ECG cardiac monitoring accessory (reviewed here), has unveiled a new Apple Watch version that can be worn as a wrist band. The tentatively-titled Apple Watch ECG goes beyond the heart rate sensor built into the Apple Watch, adding a two-electrode electrocardiogram (ECG) monitor directly into a flexible wristband similar in appearance to Apple’s Sport Band. Combined with a native watchOS 2 app, the Apple Watch ECG can graph the wearer’s heart beat over extended periods of time, as well as recording heart activity and voice annotations (“I feel like my heart just skipped a beat”) simultaneously, a feature not found on the iPhone version....
